Planetarium is a showroom where the artificial image of the sun, stars, planets and other heavenly bodies are reflected to the ceiling in the form of a dome. The most remarkable feature of a planetarium is its screen in the form of a dome and the images such as sky, heavenly bodies and similar images that are reflected on this screen by using special tools.
Planetariums enable to simulate the movements in the outer space in a realistic way, and the images used are obtained by using many optic and electro-mechanical technologic tools. All architectural and engineering designs of the planetarium project that was prepared for İzmit Municipality were undertaken by our company.
