This is a complex restoration project for the restoration of the building that was constructed by war prisoners with masonry and reinforced concrete framed building system in Turkmenbashi city in Turkmenistan during the Second World War. In this project, many different restoration and repair techniques were used such as FRP carbon fiber, steel bar reinforcements, repair mortars, special chemical mortars and steel construction bearing supports.
In this project, approximately 250 tons of steel material were used as steel construction reinforcement, approximately 15 tons of steel bar were used to support walls and columns and 14.000 sqm FRP carbon fiber material was used as column reinforcement and many other restoration mortars and chemicals were used.
This historical building, which consists of three main blocks and which includes a large performance stage, is currently used as City Cultural Center Building in Turkmenbashi City.
